Mahesh Muchhala, Co-founder, President and CEO

Mahesh brings over thirty-five years of entrepreneurial and management experience to CertifiedMail, his fifth start-up company. Prior to co-founding CertifiedMail in 1995, Mahesh co-founded Safetynet, Inc. in 1991, a security software developer focused primarily on the data access control requirements of the Department of Defense. He successfully obtained GSA contracts for Safetynet and extended sale of its security software products to the SEC and other agencies. Mahesh's first business venture in the US, after emigrating from India in 1987, was V&M International, Inc. an exporter of computer hardware to Europe. In India, Mahesh founded Acme Management Consultants in Bombay to promote major Japanese and European companies - including Mitsui, Kawasaki, Toyo Engineering, and Hoechst - to Indian Government agencies in the nationalized fertilizer and chemicals industries. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bombay and an MS in Chemical Engineering from New York State University.

Bob Janacek, Co-founder, Executive Vice President and CTO

Bob has twenty years of security software design experience, and is the architect of CertifiedMail's secure email and compliance offerings. His vision keeps the CertifiedMail technology on the cutting edge of technology, while his ongoing communications with customers ensure that CertifiedMail solutions fit hand in glove with their needs. His foresight helped transform the original Managed Security Service into a service and enterprise software solution, enhancing the platform with a series of connectors to tightly integrate with an organization's workflow. Previously, Bob was the lead designer and developer of Safetynet's award-winning suite of data security products. Since 1991, he has worked closely with the National Security Agency Rainbow Series, Department of Defense Orange Book and international Common Criteria security standards. Bob holds a BS in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University.
