CertifiedMail and GlobalTrust partner to launch CertifiedMail Secure Messaging System in Europe

• Milan-based expert in next-generation digital signature services to offer CertifiedMail solutions that protect and track critical email traffic for European enterprises, financial institutions, healthcare organizations and governments.
• Partnership will ensure compliance with EU Directives and local laws, add Italian, German language implementations of CertifiedMail solutions to existing French, Spanish, Chinese and English versions.

MORRISTOWN, NJ and ROME, ITALY, June 6, 2006/Businesswire/ – CertifiedMail, which enables organizations such as Rite-Aid, Sovereign Bank, and the UK Department of Trade & Industry to comply with privacy regulations as they apply to Internet communications, is expanding its operations into Europe by partnering with Milan, Italy-based GlobalTrust.

GlobalTrust is the Registration Authority for Entrust digital certificate solutions in Europe and offers a range of security products and services. The company is formally launching the new partnership at the 2006 Forum of Italian Financial Institutions in Rome on June 6 and 7, organized by the Italian Association of Banking & Security and co-sponsored by Global Trust. GlobalTrust will integrate Entrust's digital certificates with CertifiedMail's transparent encryption and time-stamping features to ensure compliance with EU regulations. The company will also be distributing a CD containing a trial version of CertifiedMail's Secure Messaging System in Italian, along with other details of the joint solution, at the Forum.

CertifiedMail's Secure Messaging System enhances the security of existing corporate email systems to ensure compliance with privacy laws and corporate information confidentiality policies, and is available both as a managed service and as an in-house license. CertifiedMail solutions use industry-standard platforms and integrate seamlessly with existing messaging and workflow infrastructure, ensuring rapid time to value, no user training requirements, and flexible secure mail management and delivery options.
